I wanted to share a Christmas present with you. My co-worker Gary got me this neat new crockpot for Christmas. I'm trying to get into the cooking thing more and he's trying to help me! :) This is not your average crockpot though. It's the mack daddy of all crock pots. First of all it has multiple functions. You can saute, cook, store, and serve all in the same crock pot. It's a stoneware crock pot too.

It features programmable countdown technology and a digital timer that alerts you when your meal is ready. The crock pot automatically shifts to warm when done. This is a great gift for a beginner like myself and came with a recipe book. (sorry it's a slow blogging day!) Thanks G! Great gift.

*Today I am thankful for special suprises from friends. I had a couple sweet notes and gifts when I came into work today. Unexpected, thoughtful and undeserving. Yet I'm grateful.
