In honor of the Olympics (and a huge shout out to NATE!)
Would you rather be almost good enough to make the US team but never quite qualify for the Olympics or go represent another country in the Olympics that grants you citizenship and be considered a sell out? Death is not an option.
* Today I am thankful for Lynn...thanks for my Starbucks drink and suprise visit to TMC!

USA all the way!!!
I would LOVE to be an olympian - but I think I would only want to represent the USA - so if I couldn't, I wouldn't really want to represent another country... I think....
Yes! It worked
Mom
The temptation to be an Olympian would be too much for me to pass up. It couldn’t just be any country but one that I have ties to, like Scottland. Then I would shock the world by winning a gold!!!
The Olympics is about representing YOUR country. While there is significant accomplishment and great individual honor in winning a gold medal, they still play the national anthem of the winner. It's the USA or nothing for me.
Good bye and good luck, USA, hello new country and gold medal!!!!
