I love Easter. It's a day to remember the resurrection of Jesus Christ. There is no hope of heaven, of eternal blessing and joy, without the resurrection of Christ. Easter is often thought of as a day of candy, family and easter eggs. How wrong we are! I choose to remember it as the day my Lord carried the weight of my sin and died so that I could live and then rose from the dead and is preparing a place in heaven for me.
1 Peter 1: 3-4 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you."
